My name is Ralph Lyon.

I am a techy. No doubt about it. By training I am a statistician. In my non-internet life, I am a Quality Engineer and Process Improvement Specialist. I joke about people needing to talk to me in numbers, because I don’t understand words.

I have been involved with educating myself in online marketing since mid 2008. Here in early 2010, I’m finally feeling like my “college-level” education in online marketing is just beginning, but it’s time to start really trying to apply all I’ve learned in earnest. Enough of the “assignments”, experiments (it will always be an experiment and for a statistician, that’s exciting), and pop quizzes. I’ve studied a little bit of nearly everything and tried a bit of most of it. I’ve had some degree of success in making a few sales here and there, but nothing that will allow me to retire from my JOB.

Over the past year and a half, I’ve watched/followed many marketers to learn their style. I’ve been scammed royally by one marketer whose lead-in products were great and I was making sales of his materials, but then I bit on a big “special” offer from him and got stung royally. I would say he was operating a “bait and sting” operation. So, now I’m much more careful in starting to trust anyone.

Today I’m working with and learning from some of the best online business people on the Internet, thankful to be part of a successful team of Internet Marketers and on the right way to success.
