Here are my notes that I quickly recorded during the Bryce Tomlinson call that was conducted on Dec 15. I didn’t listen to the Eric Carten call.  As always, I acknowledge and apologize that these may contain inaccuracies, they are published on a best effort basis only.

My Summary:

Don’t worry about the KW value – programmers are testing. It will be recalc’d properly every Wed night before we process payouts.

Certain search features will be coming out soon.

Payment calcs will change, new format, popular keyword payout bonus. We will not implement it until testing is completed. It will consider # KW’s found, # of paid linking, status with Kooday, and # of KW’s you have contributed, and value of your KW empire.
When? Don’t know. But sometime in December.

Will be implementing a method for people with KWs to share them with others. It will be an exciting time when we announce it. It will be profitable for people with profitable KWs. Will help new people work their way up. Friendly, profitable method. I’m dying to talk about it. For good quality KW’s it will be a financial blessing.

Snapshot bonus – have not yet grabbed a piece of the SE market yet. Can’t pay the bonus until we do. You’ll know when we are ready.

IPR – When you put in a web page – we have a crawler that goes and crawls the whole page. For testing we are using only the HTML portion. When search goes live, it will make sense to you. When live, we will cover the metatags, javascript, etc. Submit your KW for free. The testing helps us see where slowdowns are.

Lack of ability to contact referrals. We understand how important tools are for our members. We are lacking on that side and one reason is that we don’t want to grow too quickly right now. Those tools will come.

Will words with commas and question marks count as good? Yes, when testing is done. We are limiting certain things right now, related to an advertising client – they asked for certain things and we are developing a specific filter for them.

Found that IPR doesn’t find pages with ? In the URLs. Will Kooday work on that? Yes. But we are testing now. Things will be different when SE is live.

IPR doesn’t do foreign languages. It doesn’t now in testing. It will later.

When we go live, we want to be known for dropping great surprise bombs on our members. We want people to be excited about new bonuses and those who get snapshot bonus will just get it in the background, it won’t be the big current excitement.

Can I purchase Kooday $ for my referrals? Payouts will go to referrals accounts, they do need an AP account. We will be locking AlertPay email accounts soon.  Payments will go to their AP counts.

Stop words??? Finding words on the list like “I will” and “you can” ….. Will we be losing funds because they aren’t good words? If an advertiser wants to link to the connector words, it will help them in the algorithm. The benefits will be explained to advertisers and they will make a difference. We will encourage advertisers to link to those words. It will give them a higher ranking.

Is dot com ok? I think so. Depends on what people type in to searches.

‘Several people have over extended themselves and built a downline much too large to handle (including myself) – so whats the best way to release those that we cannot handle? Does the sponser have to contact you, or is there a support ticket method in place?
Best way currently is if the sponsor contacts me, Mark and tells me where to put them. If a person contacts me to move, without the sponsor contacting me, I’m hesitating to do it.

For words that has spaces by accident do u get any forgiveness of any sort? We are working on procedures to help people when the time comes. We will have a process later for dealing with/removing “bad” keywords, we are discussing it.

12/15/2010 evening Conference call  – I only listened to a few minutes.

Slowness?   We are testing.  Will set things up much better when we go live.

Testing period will be completed this month.

Next week we will be turning on some search features and help us see how people react.  Will only work on content IPR is picking up.   Not looking at meta tags, etc now.  It will be when we go live.

KW total $ values – testing – programmers didn’t tell Mark when they started testing.

Server resources – whenever any member did anything with keywords, system was going through whole DB.  That type of thing will be turned off. Updates at certain times only.  Programmers are learning learning learning.  Thanks for helping us through this test period.
