July 1, 2011:  Apparently Kooday has crashed and burned.  Was Kooday a scam, or simply mismanaged into oblivion.  We may never know.  Their WinShare Market was questionable from the start and never paid out. However, Kooday provided me with an education in Keyword/Tag trading and investing that has been invaluable in TagVillage.  Thanks for that much, Kooday.

Here are my rough notes from the Conference Call on 1/17/2011.
As always, they are on a best effort basis.  I apologize for any errors.

Mark Huhtala -
Win Share Marketplace – location in Kooday where anyone can
share their existing keywords and phrases (KW & P are
interchangeable).
The only why to get gold credits once we implement WSM – will be
through WSM.  They will still be relatively easy to get, but very
different.

From buyer’s perspective – if you are a buyer you will be able
to purchase any existing KW.  Say “car” .  It is expensive right
now.  1) you will receive gold or PSC, based on who you are.  If
gold, you will get a random amount of gold, if PSC – get a random
amount of PSC.  2) you will say you want to buy it you will get a
small amount of it.  But some will trigger a special share mode
of Kooday – you will be given that high value keyword.  You would
get a $100 or $1000 keyword for perhaps only 20 cents.
You can share in any KW and may get to own a KW.
A new member  can come in and participate in owning a word that
exists.    Will share in revenues from that KW.  The shares will
vary.  It will take place once per month – this mode of payment.

Will gain Gold and PSC credits for both WSM and regular Profit
Share.

OWNER of KW – it will start paying off.  Earnings immediately
and monthly.  If you own car, say it’s worth $1000.  Every time
someone buys a share of that word, he will receive some amount
for it.    He may lose the word “car”.  At some time that word
will leave his account, he will receive the full value of the
word plus the normal 15%.

Anyone can purchase any KW just as he has always been able to
do.

If you participate in WSM, anytime someone purchases one of your
words you will get revenue, plus there will be monthly profit
sharing.

Whenever a referral participates in WSM, you will receive an
equal portion.

Members don’t have to participate in WSM.

This allows new people to participate.   New members will be
able to obtain gold credits and get to diamond.  This will give
profits to people who have good KW empires.

It will be the only way in the future to get Gold or PSC, you
can still buy in the old way, just won’t get Gold or PSC.

If you share in “car’ you might get 1 gold credit or 10 gold
credits.  PSC – might get 100 to 1000 credits.  Will be a
different amount for every attempt.

High Value KWs will be given to someone who is buying in WSM.
You will be paid in full plus your profit.

Those with KW empires:
You may chose not to participate in WSM if you don’t want to.

If you do participate you will get a monthly bonus.

When KD makes money it shares it with members.  We pay out a
very high percentage of our income.
Certain ads will be placed in WSM by advertisers.  KD will make
a lot of revenue from this.  Ads will be associated with the
words being bought.

Transaction histories will start running like ticker tapes.

We will put detailed explanation on the site and will put the
schedule for it there.

Q: Wendy Morgan – when will words be made private so everyone
can’t see them?
Soon.  Perhaps this week or next week.  You will start seeing
these new tools soon.
Q: Dan – Do you have a certain date for advertisers?  Don’t have
an exact date.  We will get off beta this month.  Should be able
to give you a date by the end of this week.  Should be able to
give you a 1 week notice.
Q: Snapshot bonus’s – when ?   1st payout has to come from our
advertisers.  It will be 30 days in business.  If we get out of
beta for whole month of Feb, we can pay in March.

Q: Good KW percentage?  What about typos?
We have solutions.  They will be implemented this month.
Typos?  We will announce a solution before the months end.  How
you can deal with it if you don’t want.
Q: Can we go look for the top KWs?
There may be an option for those who want to participate.
There are also arguments against it.   We will allow members to
do certain things with their referral pages.  There will be ways
for members to get the word out on good words that they have.
Q: Does it cost a fee to be in WSM?
There will always be a small fee/amount to buy the KWs.  A
little more than 10 cents for a word.
KW owners can choose to or not to put their empires in WSM.  We
want to know if you are interested in it and we will tell you how
to do that.  (intimation that there might be a fee to
participate)
We want active participation in WSM.
Q: Victor:  When?
I will give a date by this week or early next week.
We will be off beta, ready for advertisers, by end of month.
Will still have work on crawlers and search engine – always will
be.  All will be ready for advertisers – new look.
We will be driving traffic to Kooday and that will bring
advertisers.

Q:  People don’t understand KD well.
Hopefully starting tomorrow we will have live sales support on
your referral page.  If someone comes to your page and has
questions, we will be able to proactively help them.
These people will be trained to help people get signed up.
There will be another level of support to help them once they
have joined.  We have new software that will help us.
Diamonds can put own content on their referral page – videos…
every page can be customized.  There will be things you can
select if you don’t want to do your own.  You have to have
diamond status to do that – you have to have a vested interest in
KD for us to allow it.
Have had to design our backend to scale up to handle lots of
traffic.  Don’t want slow loading referral pages.  We only have
to have about a hundred servers to be able to get into the top
100.  New servers have lots of capacity.

Q:  Have you considered a Diamond Advisory Board?
People will be able to talk to your referrals, if they want to
give you their email or phone.
We will be giving you suggestions.

Q:  I have a few words with punctuation.    Bing.com   msn.com -
in IPR it shows them with a space?
Punctuation will be added to IPR content.  Accents, et al…
Q:  Tell us about the star ratings.
Stars are our quality ratings.  Right now it is a simple
formula.  Like… if found x times on internet it has higher
rating.   That formula will be changing… how many times someone
links to it, how many times is it searched?   Whatever we think
is important will be added to that formula.  It will be a big
part of the Profit sharing formula.
Q: Candace:  Very excited about WSM, it will get the Alexa
rating up and separate the active from the inactive.  Thanks for
punctuation.   IPR – how long will we be able to use that?
Free mode will change soon.
Q: What do you consider a high value KW empire?
I am talking about the value of it.  We may start with a KW
value of $50 and up.  We want to start with the expensive KWs.
We will let people know of the threshold.  Those how believed in
their words and put in the work and paid will benefit.  Limit may
be $25 or $100.
High KW empire – not one word for $10,000.  People who have a
balance of 1, 2, 3, 4 words and various prices.  Needs to have
diversity.  All low value KWs isn’t an empire.  Not just total
value.
Q: Snapshot bonus – we have various levels of KW found, assume
it won’t be paid until percentages are right.
1st calculations will be done for SSB when we are ready to pay
out.

We will have live help online starting this week.

Q: Alisa – Are we ever going to have published identification of
company ownership and address.
It is in the company information.
Corporations allow those who don’t want to be publicly know to
remain out of the spotlight.
We will be setting up public events.  But investors who want to
remain private can stay private as long as we are a private
corporation.
You can look up Kooday as a Canada corporation.  You won’t find
out who all the individual investors are.
Q:  Advertising.
